Brief given to Sam Pitroda is to get "Innovation, Information and Infrastructure." Sam Pitroda wanted Union Ministry of Telcom and Information Technology to brief him on measures taken on e-governance. Pitroda
will not suggest on spectrum, e-governance and innovative technologies in Telecom. Issues relating to "3G" is now likely to be quietly given to Sam Pitroda. Sam will also be poking his nose into Surface Transport, Shipping and Petroleum.
