PM PUTS ON HOLD LESSONS TO MINISTERS FOR MUMBAI SACK

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday cancelled a meeting of all ministers, including juniors, convened in the evening to give them lessons on his expectations for an efficient government and flew to Mumbai with Sonia Gandhi.
The Cabinet meeting scheduled on Thursday was also cancelled as the PM remained engaged in getting live details of the Wednesday bomb blasts from Home Minister P Chidambaram, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and intelligence agencies, the PMO sources said.
They said the full-fledged meeting of the council of ministers will now take place next week to draw up the agenda for work, based on the PM's guidance.
