PM tells his 32 juniors Ministers

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh listened
to grievances from junior ministers and listened to
the complaints against the 33 Cabinet Ministers

In opening remarks Prime Minister said that
many of the Government policies and programmes
are not reaching common man, it is high time
that the junior ministers taken interest to
propogate of UPA II You should not be
complaining against your seniors
I have received letters from many of
you, and I replied to improve the system
But some of you wanted to publicise such
negative issues. That should not be
encouraged. were the intervening

K M Chandrasekhar Cabinet Secretary
and TKA Nair Principal Secretary were asked
to take notes, for submission to the coming
Thursday cabinet meeting.

The meeting was held at 7 Race Course Road
from 1130 to 1245 pm.

DMK Ministers of State were too silent
while Trinamool Congress junior ministers
also complained against Mamta Banerjee.
that she did not elevate them to cabinet.


Jyotiraditya Scindia Union Minister of Commerce
is the key person to speak against Anand Sharma
Many of the junior ministers belonging to Congress
did not support Scinda. Including Sachin Pilot who
always articulated such issues.

Complaints by Junior Ministers about their Seniors
is not new. It happened with Atal Bihari Vajpayee
and P V Narasimha Rao council of Ministers.
Always the juniors used to crib.

E Ahmed wanted the intervention of PM
to sort out the issues with Mamta Banerjee
She has not given me the work load sir.

KH Muniappa minister of state for Railways
spoke that Mamta Banerjee has not at all
given him any responsibility. During Lalu Prasad
tenure R Velu was given authority to clear files
Rs 500 crores finanicial sanctions. But Mamta
is silent.

Sachin Pilot Minister of State for Communication
did not utter a word against his cabinet Minister
A Raja.After the meeting was over many went
to Sachin Pilot and heckled him that he should
have spoken to get "2G corruption"

RPN Singh Minister of State for Transport
given a special thanks to Kamal Nath
but briefed the MOS meeting that more powers
needed for MOSs. During budget meeting
Kamal Nath never allowed juniors to sit in
the briefings.

S S Palanimanickam the DMK Minister of state
for Revenue gave an emotional touch to the
powers , authority and guidance given to him
by Pranab Mukherjee is huge he is like
father figure to him. Joint commissioner
postings transfers in Excise and Direct Taxes
have been delegated to MOS.

Union Minister of state for Textiles,
Panapakkam Lakshmi pointed out that
her senior DMK Minister Dayanidhi Maran
did not give any responsibility. "Till today
I received only one file to sign sir
PM sir, you please note this sir."
was her outcry.

Pallam Raju the Minister of State for Defence
was thankful to the Defence Minister AK Antony
for giving him opportunities to face parliament
at the same time, to learn more, on the
procurements, juniors should also be
given a chance.

Purandeswari said Kapil Sibal has given
full freedom but not any responsibility.
