Departure lounge of Delhi airport on the day of Telangana formation
heard a interesting joke-while waiting for Hyderabad flight between
two former Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh. They refused to
take snacks or coffee, when they  were seated in
VVIP lounge. They talked in chaste Telugu.
Onbvioulsy they  are against formation of Telangana.
"Sardar Vallabhai Patel united India Sardar Manmohan Singh
divided it" But in Telugu it is different. "Potti Sriramulu united
Andhra Komiti Rosaiah divided" Such venom and anger these
two had on AICC.Which came out effectively. Of course this
is off the record.

Senior members of Andhra Congress  agree with criticisms about
Dr Manmohan Singh Prime Minister on Wednesday stood up in Lok Sabha
to offer aplogies to Atal Bihari Vajpayee after Beni Prasad Verma made a
jovial remark. Should Dr Manmohan not interevened in the debate to defend
PV Narasimha Rao with whom he was "number two" on December 6, 1992
Dr Singh should have asked Beni Prasad Verma to stand up and offer
aplogies. Does this not show Verma was uncontrollable even by PM
ask the Andhra Congress MPs?

First timers in Lok Sabha have developed a disease of operating the Blackberry
inside the House. They compose with their two thumbs. Earlier SMS was a
nuisance. But now Blackberry. Same case in Central Hall of Parliament.
When MPs and politicians meet cutting across party lines, they should gossip
instead they are tightlipped. Instead they are busy doing twittering. Two Union
Ministers like to occupy corner seat of Central Hall to fiddle with their
blackberry. Now Parliament is likely to get a Blackberry with 3G phones
by Ministry of Parliamentary affairs.

Priya Dutt daughter of Sunil Dutt is novel. When she is inside Lok Sabha
to hear the debates-she uses her own ear phone. Sooner she resumed her seat
Priya  would remove the  heavy weight ear phone instrument with a half curve which
is to be put on the head... provided by the Lok Sabha. Priya would open her hand
bag. Take our her personal ear phone. Is she scared of 'communicable disease if she
used the common ear phone, or is it a fancy to bring hers. When other 540 MPs use
Govt provided -her style of approach to ear phone is peculiar commented
her fellow MP.

Speaker Meira Kumar for the first time directed that the Government
take serious remidial measures to stop the farmers suicide. She intervened
when Agriculutre Minister Sharad Pawar was replying in Lok Sabha
on Vidharbha Farmers death. It is customary and convetion that the Minister
acknowledges the direction from Chair. Leader of the House
Pranab Mukherjee also did not say anything. Speaker Meira Kumar is
developing a streak of the style of Somnath Chatterjee
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Friday Lok Sabha greeted Pranab Mukherjee on his birthday.
BSP and SP members wanted Finance Minister to facilitate
Pranab. If this was permitted, many would insist to speak or to sing
"Happy Birthday to You" Cleverly, Speaker went to other subject. Such practise
to greet on birthday was only for the Leader of the House
First time Congress MPs
wanted to remind why  Lok Sabha on December 9, 2009
did not greet UPA leader Sonia Gandhi.
Some MPs without knowing the protocol
wanted to raise this subject, but seniors
prevented them to be calm and quiet. As such greetings
is not mentioned for the Leader of Opposition LK Advani.
